Early in 2003 Theydon Bois Parish Council took the decision to revamp its Newsletter, which had been produced in its existing format for a number of years. It is planned that the magazine will have more emphasis on village activities and will work in conjunction with the village web site to keep you as up to date as possible about the happenings and events in Theydon Bois. Revisions to the magazine began in April 2003 when discussions also took place with web site members with regard to making the magazine available in its published form online. Thanks to the hard work of Tony Ames (The Village News Editor) and Jim Watts (Village Web Site Editor) we have now made all of the Village News issues for 2003 available in PDF format for you to download from this page. From the October 2003 issue we are able to make all future issues available online in full colour including pages that are limited to monochrome in the printed version due to cost constraints. Click on
the Issue number below to download.
To view the newsletters correctly in pdf format you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC and we recommend Version 7.0 or later to see the Newsletters correctly. If you do not at present have this it is available as a free download.
Click Here to obtain Free Acrobat Reader. As most Internet Browsers open the PDF directly. It may be better (especially if on a dial-up connection) if you want to save the Newsletter or read it off line to Right Click below and select 'Save Target As'. You can then save it to your hard disk. This is not necessary for the html Newsletters.
We hope to be adding each of the Village Newsletters in pdf format as they are published and to make other newsletters that circulate in our village, such as those from Neighbourhood Watch that are all ready on site, available in either pdf format or as html documents as soon as we can.
