1st July Friday 8.00pm Village Hall Theydon Bois & District Rural Preservation Society: AGM. Open to all,with free refreshments provided and Free talk. "Organic Farming " by Jim Collins of the local Ashlyn's Organic Farm.
2nd July Saturday 8.00pm Village Hall Charity Dance: V.E. Day Charity Dance with music by the Jeff Short Swing Band. In aid of Romford Laryngectomy Cancer Charity.
3rd July Sunday 12 Noon The Plain Theydon Scout Group: Donkey Derby & Side Shows.
3rd July Sunday 2.00pm Village Hall Theydon Bois Rural Preservation Society: Footpath Walk. "Animal Husbandary - Now & Then". Free.
7th July Saturday 9.30am Village Hall Litter Pick: Please come and help keep our village tidy.
10th July Sunday 6.30pm St. Mary's Church Royal British Legion: National Day of Commemoration with specail service at St. Mary's at 6.30pm. All welcome.
12th July Tuesday 7.45pm Village Hall Theydon Singers: Concert & Supper.

8th Sept. Thursday 8.00pm Village Hall Theydon Bois Music Society: The new season starts with a concert by Lucille Burns - Flute & Laurette Pope - Harp.
10th Sept. Saturday 10.00am - 6.00pm St. Mary's Church St. Mary's Church: Open Day. The church will be open for prayer and quiet reflection. Refreshments from 11.00am - 4.30pm.
12th Sept. Tuesday 7.30pm Village Hall The Theydon Bois Folk, Country and Barn Dance Club: First dance of new season. Enjoyable exercise.
18th Sept. Sunday 10.15am Copped Hall Copped Hall Trust: Guided Tour. £5.00 Entrance Crown hill, Upshire Road.
20th Sept. Tuesday 7.30pm Village Hall The Theydon Bois Folk, Country and Barn Dance Club: All Welcome. Enjoyable exercise.
